Microsoft announced the launch of Xbox Game Pass Corea new subscription that will take the place of Xbox Live Gold next september. This new offering will provide users with the online multiplayer support for Xbox consoles, exclusive offers and discounts, and a new catalog of over 25 gamesincluding hit titles like Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4 e Psychonauts 2.
Microsoft announces Xbox Game Pass Core instead of Live Gold
Existing Xbox Live Gold members will automatically roll over Xbox Game Pass Core on September 14thwith the service that will keep it same price of $9.99 per month (or $59.99 per year) as Xbox Live Gold. This transition will ensure that members can continue to enjoy their membership benefits without interruption.
Also, Microsoft has decided to discontinue Games with Gold starting September 1st. Games with Gold was a perk that Xbox owners could get free games every month for over a decade. Previously redeemed Xbox 360 titles will remain in your library, while Xbox One titles will only be available to subscribers Xbox Game Pass Core o Game Pass Ultimate.
Xbox Game Pass Core will include a new catalog of over 25 games designed to replace the Games with Gold offering. Microsoft has also ensured that will update this catalog regularly, with new titles being added two or three times a year. This will ensure that subscribers have a wide variety of games to choose from, constantly enriching the gaming experience.

There are fewer Game Pass titles, but still there is the ability to play online multiplayer, which is included in the basic Game Pass. In short, Microsoft is trying to rationalize its offer of subscriptions, but some overlap still remains. You can subscribe to Game Pass here.
