The wait is over: Minecraft Legends, the new game from Mojang Studios and Blackbird Interactive, is available today for PC and consoles, including on Xbox Game Pass. Let’s find out together the main features of the new title and on which platforms it is available.
Cursed Piglins!
Minecraft Legends takes us to a land full of lush biomes and precious resources, where we can meet new friends and mobs from the Overworld. However, this land is in danger due to the arrival of the gods Piglin, evil creatures who want to corrupt the Overworld with their influence. Our task will be to form alliances with the inhabitants of the Overworld and guide them in strategic battles to stop the Piglin invasion and save their home.
Players will be able to engage in battles PvP multiplayer. Two teams, made up of up to four players each, will have to gather resources, build a base and surround the opposing team’s forces. It will also be possible to play against the AI and defend the Overworld from the invasion of the destructive Piglins.
Specifically, Minecraft Legends offers two game modes: one online co-op and one competitive multiplayer. In the cooperative mode we will be able to join forces with our friends and face the game’s campaign together, where we will have to defend our villages and attack those of the Piglins. In the competitive mode, on the other hand, we will be able to challenge other players or teams in online matches, where we will have to use our strategy and our action to destroy the opposing villages and protect our own.
What consoles is Minecraft Legends available on?
Minecraft Legends is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Samsung Smart TVs with Gaming Hub. Also, players subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC can access the game for free.
