MINI celebrated his twentieth anniversary in Rome, under the banner of BMW Group. For the occasion he also presented the book “THE BIG LOVE – A 20-year love story” published by Electa. During the event a journey through time took place, to the discovery of Italian history of the brand. Let’s find out all the details of the evening and MINI’s statements together.
MINI’s 20th anniversary
The event paid tribute to some of the main protagonists which allowed the brand to become a landmark in our country, well beyond the borders of the automotive world. Twenty years of history have been told through Images e exclusive anecdotes who retraced the various initiatives that MINI shared with its community of enthusiasts.
The Director of MINI Italy, Stefano Ronzoni, stated that MINI is not just a product but a brand it represents fun, passion ed inclusion. A challenge born 20 years ago and a confirmation still today, which holds together the fans who identify themselves in the values of the brand.
Paolo Matteo Cozzi, Journalist and Editor of the book, instead revealed:
We start aboard a small car, a Mini that, growing up and becoming the MINI we all know today, has united two centuries, crossed over a millennium, lived a thousand lives and even more transformations. The classic Mini invented by Sir Alec Issigonis in 1959 has given way to the MINI signed by the BMW Group in 2001: both have been able to change the rules of the game.
