Through a press release, Warner Bros has indicated the start date of the MultiVersus Open Beta with a new gameplay trailer in which the iron giant was finally presented: let’s find out all the details together
Our greatest hope, as already written in the full-bodied preview, based on the closed alpha in which we participated, which we brought you some time ago and which you can find by clicking here, is that MultiVersus turns out to be much more than a simple clone Smash Bros with Warner Bros characters. The potential, we admit, is all there, despite our initial reservations. And even the company itself seems to be betting a lot on the title. Warner Bros Games has in fact announced, through a press release, that MultiVersus Open Beta will be available from July 26th on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC, with support for cross-play and netcod rollback on dedicated servers to ensure solid online competition. Furthermore, the company has also biased to say that a period of Early Access, which will start on July 19th, and it will be an opportunity to discover the open beta of MultiVersus in preview. Early access will be available to anyone who has participated in the MultiVersus closed alpha, as well as to anyone who has obtained a code via Twitch drops.
At the same time it was also unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the game, which also includes a first look at one of the new characters already planned: the iron giant. Playable starting July 19, the iron giant will join 15 other characters included in the game, along with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Queen (DC), Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny and Taz the Tasmanian Devil (Looney Tunes), Arya Stark (Game of Thrones), Tom & Jerry, Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time), Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe) and an amazing original creature known as Rendog. Early access ed open beta includeranno eight different map typesincluding the Batcave (DC), the Tree House (Adventure Time) and Scooby’s Haunted House (Scooby-Doo), as well as many different ways to enjoy the game, such as 2v2 team co-op, 1v1, 4-player free-for-all, AI co-op, custom online lobbies, Workshop (training mode), tutorials and adding local matches with support for up to four players. In short: we will have something to enjoy!
