The new poster of Murder in Venice has been released, in cinemas from September 14, in which the entire cast is visible, as well as a brand new clip
While the dispute between Barbie and Oppenheimer, also in Italy, is approaching, we begin to move slowly towards the end of the Venice Biennale which will open the doors to many films. Immediately after the end of the Film Art Exhibition, however, we will not forget the lagoon city, as a great Hollywood film was shot right among its canals.
In fact, it will be released in cinemas on September 14th (first making a pass right at the Venice Film Festival) the new case for the investigator Hercule Poirot, born from the pen of Agatha Christie and played on the big screen by Kenneth Branagh. Murder in Venice is presented in a new poster in which this time we see all the characters in the story, or the actors of the cast: Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey, Riccardo Scamarcio, Kelly Reilly, Jamie Dorman, Jude Hill, Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Ali Khan and Emma Laird, as well as of course the inevitable Kenneth Branagh, also executive producer of the work. Set in a Venice between the thrilling atmospheres of the post-war period, on the eve of All Saints’ Day, the film follows Hercule Poirot who is now retired and in voluntary exile in the most fascinating city in the world juggling a new case. Reluctantly, the detective participates in one seance in a decaying and ghostly palace. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective finds himself in a sinister world of shadows and secrets.
The soundtrack of the film will be composed by Hildur Gudnadóttir, the acclaimed Icelandic composer who won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Grammy and a BAFTA for the highly acclaimed Joker. The appointment with Assassinio a Venezia is instead in cinemas from 14 September 2023.
