Netflix introduced a new feature in the mobile app called “My Netflix“, a tab that aims to simplify and organize suggested content and offline downloads more effectively. And that replaces the old “Downloads” tab.
My Netflix, the new tab streaming app
The My Netflix screen has a clear and orderly arrangement. At the top, we find the notifications section. And then new releases, suggestions based on the user’s viewing preferences. If a new season of a series you’ve already seen arrives, you’ll find it here.
The next section is dedicated to downloads, which lists content downloaded to your device for offline viewing. This option becomes particularly convenient in this period of travel: downloading a few episodes of a series or a film before getting on the plane becomes convenient.
The “My Netflix” tab also includes a section dedicated to the TV series and movies that the user particularly liked. This function allows you to have quick access to your favorite content and to continue enjoying your favorite productions more immediately.
Another important section concerns the contents included in the user’s personal list, called “my list”. Here you can save the content they intend to see in the future.
A neater version of the features that used to be collections between Home and downloads. Whoever uses it will find it all together. And for those who don’t use them, they will all be in one tab, never to be opened. At the moment, the “My Netflix” tab is available on the app for iOS devices with the 15.41.00 updatewhile Android users will have to wait for thebeginning of August. Just in time for the holidays.
