It's not just an international passion, motorsport is a passion that is also part of Neapolitan territory. If it is true that already last week, during the Suzuka GP, there was also the Sorrento Roads 2024, which saw the Sorrento tracks as protagonists, precisely, reaching up to Poor, now motorsport races are also coming to Mergellina. The race of the first edition of Napoli Racing Show in fact, it will be held on a route specially prepared for the great event throughout the seafront of Naples. This event is yet another demonstration that the Neapolitan inhabitants are also great fans of the automotive world and racing, influenced in turn by the great feat of Formula 1.
Napoli Racing Show: the first edition brings motorsport to Neapolitan territory
The project was approved directly by the mayor of the city of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi. The mayor believes that this sporting event will bring many tourists to see these races, which will start just that Friday 12 April and will be held until the end of the weekend, Sunday 14 April. In the races there will be vehicles from different categories, from single-seaters to Gran Turismo cars. There are various types and also there will also be some great Neapolitan drivers, one of them was even one step away from becoming a Formula 1 driver.
But not only that, there will also be one horse racewho will travel the same route and what's more, children aged 6 to 10 will also be able to have fun, a karting experience course. Believe it or not, there will also be one vintage tractor race! Finally there will also be the inauguration of the first charging panel for electric cars by Enel in Naples. 1000 seats will be available for the event and public entry will be free, but you must book by connecting to the Napoli Racing Show website.
