Need for Speed Unbound is enriched with new features and content with the launch of Volume 6the first of a series of four live services planned for this year.
With Volume 6, players will be able to access one new dedicated PvP modedirectly from the multiplayer garage, and challenge other drivers in 25 new PvP races, both in classic mode and in Free Roam. Every week, three playlist miscellaneous they will offer new opportunities for competition and fun, suitable for all tastes and preferences. Furthermore, Volume 6 scores the return of Audiwith three exclusive and customizable models: the RS 6 Avant (2020), the R8 Coupé (2019) and the S5 Sportback (2017), featuring unique body kits, customized liveries, distinct handling and audio.
Everything new about Need for Speed Unbound: Volume 6
- DEDICATED PVP MODE. New game mode that allows players to quickly access online races, without having to leave the multiplayer garage. The dedicated PvP mode offers 25 new races, which can be tackled both in the mode itself and in Free Roam, thanks to the Open Playlists function.
- WEEKLY PVP PLAYLISTS. Each week, players will be able to choose from three different playlists, as well as the Quick Race option, offering races of different styles and performance levels. The playlists will change every week, always offering new challenges and rewards. Among the playlists, there will also be thematic ones, dedicated to Audi and “NFS Legends”, as well as four new S+ Tier playlists, for more experienced drivers. Whether you choose the dedicated PvP mode or the open playlists in Free Roam, you will be able to enjoy more intense and exciting competition.
- AUDI. Audi returns to the Need for Speed Unbound car fleet, with three exclusive and customizable models: the RS 6 Avant (2020), the R8 Coupé (2019) and the S5 Sportback (2017). These cars feature unique body kits, custom liveries, distinct handling and audio, making them realistic and fascinating. Players will also be able to unlock a Rare Custom version of each model by purchasing the Premium Speed Pass.
- RANK SYSTEM. A new progression system that allows players to earn respect and showcase their skills in both single and multiplayer. The Rank System is based on experience points (XP) earned in races and activities. The more XP you earn, the more you level up and unlock new Rank Divisions. Each unlocked Rank Division offers a decal, banner frame, and banner title, which you can use to customize your profile and ride.
- NFS LEGENDS CONTENTS. A special content dedicated to historical fans of the series, which celebrates 30 years of Need for Speed. “NFS Legends” content includes NFS Carbon villain Darius’ custom ’19 Audi R8 Coupe, which can be obtained by purchasing the Premium Speed Pass. Additionally, “NFS Legends” content includes the Ferrari Testarossa Coupé (1984), an homage to the original Ferrari from the original 1994 classic The Need for Speed. This car can be obtained by participating in “NFS Legends” themed challenges in the weekly playlist , which begin with a nod to the place where it all began.
