Haier Europe announced today the appointment of Neil Tunstall as the new CEO of the company, after an in-depth global selection process.
Haier Europe appoints Neil Tunstall as new CEO
Neil Tunstall will take over as CEO of Haier Europe at the beginning of April, with the task of leading the Europe region which has its headquarters in Italy and has around 10,000 employees, a commercial presence in over 50 countries and 7 production sites.
Neil Tunstall, who is he?
Tunstall is a leader with extensive international corporate experience, a strong background in business and marketing, and a proven track record of success in technological innovation-driven businesses in the consumer sector.
Its main objective will be to continue to generate long-term value for an ever-increasing number of customers and consumers across the region, positioning Haier Europe as the undisputed leader and consumers’ first choice for smart home solutions.
Focus on technological innovation

The roles played before
For the past seven months, Tunstall has served as Haier’s managing director for the UK and Ireland, leading the market with the aim of becoming the number one company in the sector. He will continue to perform these duties until a successor is appointed. Tunstall replaces Yannick Fierling, whose decision to leave the company was announced previously.
