Gigabyteduring the Computex 2022 launched the new Aorus S 12thThe company (click here for more information) has tried its luck several times in the past by building compact gaming systems (PC BRIX), but none have been successful. Last year the company introduced theAorus Model Sthough it didn’t even seem to get much traction, but it looks like Gigabyte is ready to give it another try, as the Model S 12th was unveiled at Computex last week.
Components of the new Aorus S 12th
The base model appears to be equipped with a processor Intel Core i7-12700Kwhich is mounted on a motherboard Mini-ITX basata are Z690combined with 32GB 4800MHz DDR5 memory. There is also a graphics card GeForce RTX 3070 with 8 GB of memory and a SSD PCIe 4.0 NVMe from 2 TB. However, what makes this system a bit special is that it has a huge combo heatsink CPU e GPUwith the whole system cooled by a 120 mm and one of 140 mm.
The design is reminiscent of the Corsair One, even if a little more squared off and not as refined. The Model S 12th is packed with all the features you’d expect from a high-end PC nowadays, such as 2,5 Gbps EthernetWiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 × 2 (20 Gbps) port and 750 W Gold 80 Plus rated power supply. The system measures 190 x 189 x 400 mm (LxWxH) and has a volume of 14 liters. A decent, if unspectacular spec, although as we don’t know the price it’s hard to tell if it’s going to be good value for money or not
