ASRock Industrial launches the new Edge AIoT platform with 12th generation Intel Core processors

As global adoption of Edge AI continues to grow through smart transitions, ASRock Industrial (here for more info) is thrilled to release the new platform Robust Edge AIoT series iEPF-9010S / iEP-9010E. The platform is processor enabled 12th Generation Intel Core (Alder Lake S) con R680E/H610 chipset to deliver breakthrough performance at the Edge. Equipped with excellent computing power with enhanced Edge AI acceleration, the iEPF-9010S / iEP-9010E series offers high memory capacity. It has rich I / O and expandability, wide RF connectivity: 4G LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, BT 5.2 with real-time TSN / TCC, more ruggedness for industrial environments. The series is an effective consolidation all-in-one for highly demanding workloads. Tailor-made for mission-critical industrial applications such as factory automation, machine automation, robotic control, AI AOI, autonomous vehicles, smart cities and more.

Details on the new Edge AIoT platform

Loaded by the latest 12th Generation Intel Core, Pentium / Celeron processors with R680E / H610 chipset, the AIoT platform with expandable edge iEPF-9010S series includes various models. Among them we have iEPF-9010S-EY4 / iEPF-9012S-EY4. The iEP-9010E series Compact Edge AIoT platform, includes the iEP-9010E / iEP-9012E models. The high-performance hybrid architecture of the 12th Generation Intel Core processor (Alder Lake S) supports up to 16 core e 24 thread. Allowing use cases IoT up to 1.36x faster in single-thread performance e 1.35x faster in multi-threaded performance compared to the previous 10th generation Intel Core processor.

In addition, the iEPF-9010S / iEP-9010E series are designed with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. The Robust Edge AIoT platform includes the platform IEPF-9010S series expandable AIoT edge with flexible expansion slots. The iEP-9010E series has compact dimensions: 202 x 244 x 108,7 mm (L x W x H). iEPF-9010S Series has dimensions 202 x 290 x 209,3 mm (L x W x H) to ensure optimal use of the industrial space. Featuring a rugged power design, the new series supports 9V – 36V VDC. It has a wide range of input power with ignition control and remote on / off switch. It also supports overvoltage protection from 80 V, OVP, UVP, OCP and reverse protection for longer life under stress. In addition, the series operates in a wide range of temperatures from -40C a 75C (35W CPU), with high shock and vibration resistance to ensure always-on functionality even in harsh environments.
