A new partnership between Niantic and Sony Corporation that could revolutionize the world of AR (augmented reality). Software development experience on the one hand, audio leadership on the other.
Niantic and Sony together for a new experience in AR
Today comes the news of a partnership between two leading players in their sector. On the one hand we find Niantic Inc. – software development company – and the other Sony Corporation, a leader in the audio industry. The shared purpose is to create a more immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experience than ever. Efforts, at least initially, will focus on Ingress, Niantic’s popular sci-fi game for mobile (Android and iOS). No other details about the partnership are currently known, except as declared by the two brands through an official press release:
