Lynk & Cothe premium mobility brand, announces the conclusion of Alain Visser’s journey as CEO of Lynk & Co in Europe to pursue new opportunities outside the company. It will succeed him – starting from 8 January 2024 – Nicolas Lopez Appelgrencurrently Head of Retail Operations at Volvo Cars, who will bring with him over 28 years of global retail and marketing experience.

In his current role, Nicolas has led the transformation of ‘s commercial and retail operations Volvo Carshelping the company develop more immediate relationships with users, integrating Volvo’s online sales network with its retail network and improving customer service through direct response channels.
Before taking on the role of CEO of Lynk & Co in Europe, Nicolas took on important roles at Volvo Cars in various sectors such as retail and product management, marketing and commercial development. She was a fundamental figure in Volvo’s growth on not only the European but also the American market.

Alain Visser was appointed Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales of Geely Auto Group in 2015, contributed significantly to the creation of the Lynk & Co brand and – since 2017 – has held the role of CEO in Europe. He has been a key figure in identifying new experiences for customers through the revolutionary business model and connected vehicles.
