Nikon Z f: promo for spring shots
Equipped with the same EXPEED 7 image processing engine as the Nikon Z 9, the Z f allows for the highest quality photography and video shooting. A concentration of style and substance, this new camera is characterized by cutting-edge technology, which includes exceptional AF and VR performance, offering itself as the perfect tool for those who wish to express their creativity in photo and video environments.
Key features of the Nikon Z f include:
- A traditional design inspired by the iconic FM2
The influence of Nikon tradition is clear in the details when it comes to the Z f. The retro look reflects the iconic FM2, as does the adoption of the dials, the shutter button and the use of the Nikon logo used in the 70s and 80s. All brass control dials are set in a magnesium alloy body, providing a comforting, high-quality feel. The camera body is also customizable with six different high-quality finishes, in addition to the standard black and white model, to coordinate the camera with your personal style.
- New features that expand your creative possibilities
In addition to the conventional monochrome Picture Control, the Z f has been equipped with two new Picture Controls: smooth monochrome and deep tone monochrome. A dedicated black and white position has been added to the photo and video picker to enable instant switching between controls. The camera is also equipped with a variety of other exciting features and capabilities, including Creative Picture Control and Pixel-Shift Shooting with Micro-Sensor Shift, where the camera generates images with a higher resolution than what is possible with the standard shot. The Z f is the first Nikon to support this feature.
- Improved video performance for diversified needs
The new camera offers several exciting video shooting features, including 10-bit recording directly on-camera, using H.265, as well as being capable of recording up to 125 minutes in 4K UHD. Additional features have been inherited from the Z 9, including the ability to adjust ISO sensitivity in steps of 1/6 EV and the display of a red frame during video recording.
- Superior performance with cutting-edge technologies
The Z f is powered by the latest generation EXPEED 7 image processing processor, thus ensuring, among other things, high quality in ISO sensitivity. In addition to having the same nine types of subject detection present in the Z 8, tracking performance when using subject detection has been improved. The camera is further supported by the built-in stabilization function and enhanced electronic e-VR, which improve image quality when shooting indoors in the dark or low light.
