According to a very greedy rumor, the Nintendo Direct does not bundle: even a new 2D Mario would be expected in the hypothetical presentation
After Summer Game Fest, Future Games Show, Xbox Games Showcase, Capcom Showcase and even a presentation from Sony, the only big absentee is the usual Nintendo Direct of June, passed back from certainty to rumor with a title of Mario from the 2D view at the center of the toto-games. It would not surprise us if the plebiscite at the box office had tempted the Big N to the point of replicating the adaptation of the mustache cosmogony for the big screen on consoles. To make everything a tangible possibility, however, the multiple goals into empty nets by the leaker. Titles like Sonic Superstars and Everybody 1-2 Switch! they are in fact present in the timeline of Pyoro (stage name inspired by the well-known WarioWare supporting actor) before and after their confirmation, although the profile remained suspiciously silent for several months.
In case you were 𝓦𝓞𝓝𝓓𝓔𝓡ing what games will be announced in this week’s #NintendoDirect:
– A new 2D #Super Mario Bros
– Remake of a SNES classic— Pyoro (@Pyoro_ND) June 19, 2023
The 2D Mario you don’t expect (and not even us): the double rumor on Nintendo Direct
Having established the suspicion of tweets deleted following the denial of a leak, the source of the rumor still remains rationally reliable. In the most recent posts, Pyoro he denied the possibility whether it is a title in the series New. However, it’s not just the new game that’s being talked about in the tweet above. The hypothesis of a remake of a classic SNES. In this sense, an authentic Pandora’s box opens, starting with the valuable remasters of Square-Enix (putting into the huge HD-2D cauldron both more eligible titles such as Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and other more obscure ones such as EVO: Search for Eden). Also, the colossal Super Nintendo library makes it very difficult to narrow it down. Certainly, doubts arise about the nature of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as the last cheer for the console. As proof of this, when the article was being written, a new tweet from the leaker showed a very suspicious Pikachu.
