Starting yesterday evening, from the end of the Direct conference, A demo version of the title is available on Nintendo eShop. This free trial version will allow you to complete the first chapter of each character in the game, 8 in total, to get a taste of each of their stories. The only exception will be Osvald, of which it will be possible to experience the first two chapters. We leave you the trailer shown last night in the Direct right below.
Octopath Traveler II: new trailer and demo version available on Switch!
Square Enix has a habit of create these Prologue Demos for your upcoming titles. It did it originally for the first Octopath Traveler as well, but also for Triangle Strategy and Bravely Default II, if we only take the most recent titles. We will certainly tell you about it in a dedicated preview, which will contain our first impressions. Looking forward to next February 24th!
Octopath Traveler II will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS5 and PC and a Demo version is now available on the eShop.
