Nintendo is making itself heard again with a Direct announced yesterday which, let us tell you, was truly crackling. Lots of announcements directly from the stage of the big N, from a new 2D Mario to numerous Remakes of great classics. Including, precisely, that of Super Mario RPG, which was shown with a trailer during the Nintendo Direct that has just ended, which you can find below. And not only that: we also have the release date!

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Remake is coming (obviously) exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 17th and pre-orders are available now. It was originally developed by Squaresoft and, here, Mario and company will have to fight against a new enemy called Smithy. They will therefore leave for a new adventure in search of the Seven Stars, Mario and the many unique allies he will welcome to the party over time, from the marshmallow Mallow to the puppet Geno, but Princess Peach and Bowser will also not be missing.
The combat system, based on timing, seems to have remained unchanged. What surprised you about the trailer that you find above is obviously the aesthetic and technical sector, as well as the sound one, with completely rearranged music tracks. Let us tell you: it looks very promising indeed, especially for all the die-hard fans who have been eager to see a much-loved Mario spin-off return.
