The document appeared today and was first spotted by Twitter user SamusHunter2. It notes in particular that the product is a “game controller” with the peripheral prefix “BY THIS”Of Nintendo Switch. The details on the new alleged controller from SwitchTo tell the truth, they are pretty scarce, as the rest of the list is deliberately blacked out until Nintendo will not officially announce the product, or for a maximum of 180 days (which would take us to March next year). In the “coded” product nomenclature, Nintendo Switch and its peripherals all share the prefix “HAC”, with the Switch console being “HAC-001”. The console dock is “HAC-007”, while its Pro Controller is “HAC-013”.
The most recent additions include the Ring-Con Controller (HAC-022) and the SNES Controller for use with Nintendo Switch Online (HAC-042). So what could HAC-043 be?
Last week, Eurogamer confirmed reports that more console catalogs would be added to the catalog in the future Switch Online, including Game Boy and Game Boy Color. Eurogamer, according to what its editors said, is also aware of other platforms intended for the service, even if the identities of these have yet to be widely disclosed.
