Big N dropper speeds up the pace a bit: next N64 title coming to Nintendo Switch Online is Banjo-Kazooie
Paying members a Nintendo Switch Online will find a new game for today N64 under their tree, but the arrival of Banjo-Kazooie expected shortly has put role-playing in the background. The solo publication of Paper Mario, now available, left a predictable bitter aftertaste on the palate of those who expected a pace of re-release worthy of the increase in the subscription cost, and it is clear that with its tweet the Big N wanted to run to the repairs. And the wait will not even be as prohibitive as the speed in re-proposing the contents so far seemed to suggest.
Banjo-Kazooie will join the Nintendo Switch Online family
Rare’s classic Banjo-Kazooie caused a sensation at its announcement in the Nintendo Switch Online line-up precisely by virtue of its membership of the development team. The latter is in fact now a first-party study on behalf of Microsoft, and as such represents competition from the Kyoto giant. However, if the arrival of the iconic duo in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was already surprising two years ago, now we are amazed by the original format (remaster permitting) of this adventure. Masahiro Sakurai himself, in introducing bear and bird in the fighting game roster, reminded us to get an Xbox One to play their adventures. But now it would seem that it is no longer necessary.
