The specifications and price of NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti may have been revealed by the latest leaks, even if it has been talked about for some time. NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti: top specs in the latest leaks
The NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti 12 GB FE (Founders Edition) graphics card is expected to feature a PCB design encoded as PG132-SKU18 and the GA102-225-KD-A1 graphics chip. It looks like the latest reinterpretation of this GPU will have 10240 CUDA cores for a total of 80 SM units, almost as much as an RTX 3090 which has just a handful more. The new top-of-the-range video card should deliver a clock speed of 1365 MHz in base and 1665 MHz in boost, slightly below the flagship RTX 3090 probably due to the TGP which should remain the same as the RTX 3080 or 320 W.
As for the memory, the card will be equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory (even at the beginning it seemed to be 20). Unlike the 19.5Gbps speeds of the RTX 3090, the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti is expected to maintain the same memory speed as the RTX 3080 of 19Gbps. It is also assumed that the new graphics card will use a 384-bit bus interface for a theoretical total bandwidth of 912 GB / s. It should still be enough to power the huge 10,000-core chip, but perhaps memory will be the factor that will limit the new GPU the most.
And for mining?

NVIDIA should currently have a lock in the stronger BIOS firmware to enforce hash rate limit on the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti graphics card and revised Ampere cards, but it is possible that this particular sample that has been tested is an early chip and may therefore not be equipped with all the latest generation protections.
