Octopath Traveler 2: the features of the game coming to Xbox
What was able to enthuse over a million gamers all over the world (as of June 2023) was certainly the ability of the developers to be able to recreate a unique style of gameplay for each individual protagonist. Furthermore, these will very often interact with each other during the main adventure. Based on our actions, we will then have the possibility of influencing the story through interactions with the NPCs. The combat system features the same mechanics as the original game, with players having to try to steal the enemies’ weaknesses and, at the same time, strengthen their attacks.
A real hit gametherefore, which is about to finally land in the Microsoft universe. The decision to add Octopath Traveler 2 to the Xbox universe is probably also due to Microsoft’s intention to look even more towards Japan, given that the nation of the Rising Sun seems to still be deeply linked to Nintendo and PlayStation. In fact, the American publisher has revealed that this collaboration marks only the beginning of a partnership between the two houses which will also see the arrival of other productions on Xbox.
