Officine Italiane Zard continues to expand its offer to Harley-Davidson models. Indeed after the systems for the new generation the Sportster S 1250 and the Pan American 1250 Adventurethe Piedmontese brand today presents its exhausts for the iconic Grand American Touring range.
Officine Italiane Zard has decided to develop a special exhaust for one of the most mythical families in the history of motorcycling, namely that of the Grand American Touring. This range includes Harley-Davidson more clearly devoted to medium and long-range tourism.

The exhaust is of the slip-on type, with two handmade twin tailpipes in AISI 304 stainless steel and completed by the aluminum caseback machined from solid. The Zard silencers for Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring are compatible with the original collectors and are finished in an elegant matte black finish. This is achieved through a Cerakote varnish which guarantees resistance to high temperatures up to 1000 °.
The bottoms are cut obliquely to follow the shapes of the bags and the rear fender of the bike. CNC machining defines the unique design of these elements. These are embellished with the Zard logo lasered on the top and visible even with the suitcases installed.
As per Zard tradition, design, sound and performance go hand in hand, thanks to the high technological content of these exhausts. The new Zard slip-on system for Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring has therefore been finely tuned to enhance the tone of the V-Twin in Milwaukee.
From the point of view of performance, the system of the Asti brand has a weight of 7.8 kg, with a saving of about 0.3 kg compared to the original. It also increases the power of 2.2 Hp and the torque of 6.9 Nm, all of this, of course, while maintaining the Euro 5 homologation. Furthermore, the Racing version, without homologation, is also always available.
The Zard slip-on exhaust system for Harley-Davidson Grand American Touring is compatible with models powered by the 114 cubic inch powertrain. The assembly of the Zard system it does not require any updating of the engine control unit.
