The new OnePlus 10 Pro is already available for purchase in China, and is already conquering a good slice of the market thanks to some technical specifications such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and the 5000 mAh battery. Despite this, it doesn’t seem to be one of the toughest smartphones on the market. YouTuber Zack Nelson, creator of the popular JerryRigEverything channel, put the phone through its usual endurance test. But this does not seem to have “reacted” well. As you can see in the video below, the OnePlus 10 Pro is almost there broken in half when Nelson tried to bend it.
OnePlus 10 Pro breaks during the endurance test
YouTuber Zack Nelson subjected the new OnePlus 10 Pro to an endurance test, from which the smartphone came out far from unscathed. Already by pressing the body of the phone, the rear glass began to break and many of the cracks began to appear under the camera. With some more pressure, the phone literally began to bend at its top. Until it finally breaks. And that would have allowed Nelson to see what the inside of the phone contains, which would appear to be arranged in such a way as to allow YouTube to break it with their bare hands.
Apparently, too the shell too thin of the smartphone would not have guaranteed a good resistance to the test. That said, it is clear that Nelson has taken the phone to its extreme limit. On the other hand, it is rather difficult for someone to behave like this towards their smartphone. Despite this, it is clear that the OnePlus model is not able to withstand too high stresses. A rather bad news for the company, especially because it came out a few days after the announcement that the Samsung Galaxy S22 even withstood the weight of a car.
