The new smartphone OnePlus Ace is official: the company confirmed the launch in China il April 21 at 7pm local (13 in Italy). The smartphone is the first of the Ace line, although the name is borrowed from an Oppo line. And it promises a powerful chip Mediatek e fast charging at 150W.

Along with the announcement of the arrival of the smartphone, OnePlus also posted some images of the device. They match the renders of what it looked like at the time be able to call itself OnePlus 10Rinstead a real new line of smartphones will start.
The phone has a double texture on the back, one side streaked while the other has a smooth finish. From the images it seems made in plastic but at the moment there are no confirmations about it. The bump for the top left camera shows a large main sensor and two supporting sensors, probably ultra-wide and macro. But even then, we’ll have to wait until next week to find out.
OnePlus confirmed that the smartphone will have a processor Mediatek Dimensity 8100, which should ensure record-breaking performance. It will also have a ultra-fast charging of 150W. It could therefore be a smartphone with top-of-the-range performance but which compared to OnePlus 10 Pro rannounces something in the photography department.
OnePlus explained that the Ace line, which takes its name from the homonymous but completed Oppo line, will focus on fine finishes, reliable quality and great performance. But we’ll have more details next week.
For the moment the announcement seems destined only for the Chinese market, but for the event OnePlus it could also herald future global availability. We will keep you informed.
