OnePlus returns to the charge in the market of tablet with the new OnePlus Pad Go, the second experiment of the Chinese company that wants to offer a complete Android tablet without requiring too much money in exchange. We are talking about around €329 for a mid-range 11.35″ Pad and who wants to offer authoritative performance at the right price. But is it really like that? We tried it for you and we are ready to tell you about it in this one review of the new OnePlus Pad Go.
Although less than a year has passed since the launch of the OnePlus Pad, the company's very first tablet, OnePlus is now trying again with a cheaper but no less noteworthy tabletdesigned for a broader audience looking for simpler activities such as web browsing, streaming media, using social apps and reading e-books.

Design
Il OnePlus' Pad Go features a simple, minimalist design in line with the previous model. With an aluminum body and a 11.5 inch LCD display with 2K resolutionfollows the design, curves and color (Twin Mint) of the OnePlus 12 while also taking up the OxygenOS operating system. In terms of weight and dimensions we are quite in line with the other tablets in this range on the market. Compared to the OnePlus Pad, it differs mainly from a plastic band placed on the upper part of the back which gives a certain movement and houses the large rear camera port.
On the sides of the tablet, pleasantly rounded we find four Dolby Atmos speakers, the power button and the volume management buttons, the SIM card tray and the USB-C input for charging. Overall the tablet presents itself excellently, providing an excellent feel on the hands although the differences compared to the previous model are truly negligible.
Included in the package, in addition to the Pad, we find the instruction booklet and the USB Type-C charging cable.
Technology
l Pad Go on OnePlus it is powered by the processor MediaTek Helio G99, which offers sufficient performance for everyday tasks. The tablet comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage memory expandable via microSD (up to 1TB). The tablet runs on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.2which offers a clean and customizable user interface and perfectly in line with other OnePlus devices to create an efficient ecosystem (which we will talk about later).
On the display side, we find a excellent 11.35″ LCD screen with 2,408 x 1,720 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Added to this are the thin 7.5 mm masks for great comfort throughout the day. Speaking of comfort, fortunately for our eyes we also find support for Low Blue Light for complete, certified protection TÜV Rheinlandagainst annoying blue light.
In terms of autonomy we find 8,000 mAh of battery which guarantees up to 514 hours of battery life in standby and up to 14 hours of video or 40 hours of music. Obviously there is no shortage of it 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
Our test of the OnePlus Pad Go
For this review we tested the OnePlus Pad Go for about three weeks during which it became our primary tablet and we also took it on a trip with us for an extra test. Let's start by saying that having already reviewed the previous model we can make a complete, although not exactly honest, comparison. We are in fact talking about a cheaper and therefore less powerful device than the OnePlus Pad. As anticipated, from a design point of view the two Pads are practically identical apart from a plastic strip on the back. Although it gives it a pleasant movement, it unfortunately becomes an incredible attractor for fingerprints. for the rest, the performance of materials and construction is actually excellent, in perfect OnePlus style.
The performances under the body are truly excellent despite the “mid range” in which this Pad Go is positioned. Except for more demanding tasks such as video games or more complex apps such as graphics ones, the tablet performed every task perfectly without ever slowing down. Likewise, we were pleasantly surprised by the performance of the battery which, although smaller than the OnePlus Pad, is perfectly balanced with the maximum workload that the tablet can carry out.
Also in this case the Tablet Go gives its best together with the other OnePlus devices with which it manages to create a faster, safer and more efficient connection thanks to theecosistema OnePlus. Among these we find the Mutli-Screen Connect mode, to instantly connect OnePlus tablets and smartphones or create a more secure HotSpot shared only between the brand's devices.
The review in brief of the Pad Go by OnePlus
The OnePlus Pad Go is a great choice for users looking for an affordable, designer tablet for basic tasks. It offers a good display, good battery life and customizable software at an affordable price. However, if you need a tablet for more demanding tasks such as gaming or video editing, you should consider other options.
The OnePlus Pad Go is now available on the OnePlus.it website for around €329.
