Opel announces its new car, which maintains an affordable price while offering more efficient engines: Opel Corsa Hybrid. With a price list starting from 26,100 euros, the new hybrid Corsa promises reduced consumption, thanks to hybrid technology with lithium ion battery and new combined petrol engines.

After changing the design and announcing two electric engines, the new Corsa embraces the 48 volt hybrid technology. It has a lithium ion battery that recharges automatically while driving. The new three-cylinder turbo petrol engines from 1.2 liters 74 kW/100 hp and 100 kW/136 hp, developed specifically for the hybrid application, promise a driving experience on another level. With an electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electric motor from 21 kW/28 CVCorsa Hybrid offers great efficiency.
Hybrid technology offers tangible advantages, Opel reports. Compared to the conventional counterpart, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are reduced by 18%. Drivers can enjoy a local emission-free environment at low speeds, without the need to externally charge the vehicle. The excellently coordinated hybrid system offers efficient driving in mode Eco, Normal and Sport, giving drivers the freedom to choose according to their style.
Compared to the non-electrified Corsa 1.2 with eight-speed automatic transmission, the new 74 kW/100 HP Corsa Hybrid, with 48V technology, can save almost 1.0 l/100 km. To the options Corsa Hybrid GS 100 kW/136 HP, available starting from 30,190 euros, shows similar results, with an 18% drop in consumption and emissions.

Inside, the Corsa Hybrid embraces modernity with a digital information display and a color touchscreen from 10 inches.
