The world of motors is evolving more and more thanks to the new generations who are totally embracing the electric motor. Opel is also added to the team of all the other companies that have decided to take a step forward into the future. The German company had already decided to enter this new world by presenting to all of us the new electric SUV Opel Frontera, but now it seems that the company wants to do things even bigger. In fact, it has now chosen to launch one on the market new generation of Opel Grandland. Opel CEO Florian Huettl called the new Grandland a step forward in their electric offensive.
The new generation Opel Grandland is a step forward
The new Opel Grandland is indeed completely electricalso thanks to Stellantis' native STLA Medium BEV platform, which houses a new battery pack of up to 98 kWh. This allows the car to travel 700 kilometers with a single charge and the battery should reach 80% in just 26 minutes of charging. Alternatively, the car is also available in a plug-in Hybrid version with EV range of up to 85 km and in a Hybrid version with 48 volt technology. We find the 3D Viewfinder with the Blitz logo illuminated in the center and the OPEL lettering illuminated, with a lighting system Intelli-Lux Pixel Matrix HD high definition. Finally, excellent alloy wheels up to 20″, the two-tone floating roof and the contrasting upholstery. The size increaseswith a length of 4,650 mm, 1,905 mm width and 1,660 mm height.
Digital, innovative and comfortable interiors
Inside we find a 16″ central display slightly oriented towards the driving seat, while behind the steering wheel we find a large, digital instrument panel, also available together with theHead-Up display Intelli-HUD. We then have side air vents integrated into the door. Speaking of the seats: they offer ventilation and massage functions for the driver, while rear passengers will have 20 mm more legroom. Finally, the patented Intelli-Seat function in the front seats is standard for even greater comfort. Finally we have over 35 liters of internal storage compartments, including the Pixel Box semitrasparentewhile as regards the boot, the load volume can reach 1,641 litres.
