We have already talked extensively about Oppo Reno7, the new series of smartphones that will hit the market at the end of the week. As anticipated, the design will be completely renewed, but the most significant addition to the previous models could be represented by the camera. From what we know, the new models will have the “world’s first super sensitive cat-eye lens”. A technology that the company has developed in collaboration with Sony. Let’s go and discover the Oppo Reno7 camera in more detail.
Oppo Reno7: the “cat-eye” camera is the real novelty of the series
Incredible novelty for the Oppo Reno7 series: a “cat-eye” camera that uses the Sony IMX709 sensor with an RGBW array. A combination capable of improving light sensitivity and noise reduction. Precisely for this reason, the new Oppo smartphones will be able to shoot perfectly photos at night and in low light conditions. As for the design of the camera, there is no news regarding a shape that actually resembles that of a cat’s eye. So it is likely that the name refers to the ability to “see” even in the dark, so to speak.
Beyond this, it would seem that some leaks show this sensor in the front camera of the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro models. A not indifferent equipment, which is added to that of a Dimensity 1200 Max SoC, a 4,500 mAh battery it’s a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. At least as far as the Pro model is concerned. Indeed, as regards the camera of the Oppo Reno7 Pro we could also expect four lenses, with the primary one of 50 MP. In any case, on November 25th we would have confirmation of everything. And we really can’t wait to know if the camera equipment is really that incredible.
