The ideas for decorating the balconies are really many, there are no pre-established rules, for the holidays you can use as many lights as you want: garlands, light chains, waterfalls, stalactites. How to decorate a balcony or facade with lights
To beautify the exterior of the house, especially the balcony or the facade, there are many solutions, starting with chains or strips of light for outdoor use. A nice idea to decorate a balcony could be to place a small Christmas tree, preferably real, not necessarily to be embellished entirely: to decorate it you can only use lights (chains or luminous cascades) and, if desired, colored ribbons (the automatic switching on and off of the lights, even intermittently, will stand out the tree and create an unprecedented Christmas atmosphere).
This is a particularly suitable solution for covered balconies, as they are more sheltered from rain and wind. Alternatively, or together with the placement of a Christmas tree, the decorative lamps for outdoors, to hang on the wall and on the railing (for example a luminous Santa Claus with light tubes).
How to decorate a balcony railing
In addition to the facade of the balcony, the railing can also be embellished, there are so many solutions, just use the so-called ones bright figures: for example snow crystals, stars, luminous Christmas writings (for example “wishes” or “Merry Christmas”).
To decorate, simply arrange these decorative elements at a distance of 50-70 centimeters between them, preferably of the same type. Embellish a large balcony for Christmas
If the balcony is very large you can use luminous figures featuring animals and typically Christmas objects: such as luminous reindeer, luminous balls for outdoors (to hang on the balcony or on the adjacent wall), snowmen, Santa Claus or other luminous characters, ranging from positioned on the ground and connected to electricity: ideal decorations to amaze children and transport them into the magic of Christmas.

Alternatively you can use the luminous cascades, which are simply placed on the upper base of the railing: once applied they will produce a characteristic effect of rain of lights, very elegant.
Here too the choice is wide: if you prefer a simpler effect, you can use decorated stalactites, which once applied to the railing give a magical frosted effect, however very similar to luminous waterfalls. Do you prefer to leave the railing free but don’t want to give up the beauty of the lights? You can use a simple cascade of rain lights, to be placed in a corner of the balcony, towards the outside.
