Panasonic LCD PT-CMZ50 is the new projector designed for ultra-short distances

Panasonic Connect Europe today unveiled its new projector LCD PT-CMZ50. A device that aims to provide very high resolution images and large dimensions with ultra-short distances. The projector can indeed be positioned just one centimeter away from the screenthus becoming the perfect ally for those who use it for business, entertainment or work.

Thanks to these characteristics, the PT-CMZ50 LCD becomes perfect both in museums, for projections and artistic installations, and for corporate meetings. The short distance also ensures minimal shadows, as well as ease of installation and configuration. Furthermore, the device is able to provide immersive images, even in intense light conditions or in complex spaces in terms of installation.

Technical characteristics of the Panasonic LCD projector PT-CMZ50

Here are some of the main features of the projector:

• 5,200 lm ultra short throw
• 80 inch images at 1 cm from the screen
• Clear and detailed view of the projected contents
• 5,200 lm laser light source with 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast
• Uniform WUXGA resolution that makes small text easier to read
• Supports 2560×1080 (21:9) and 3240×1080 (27:9) and 4K input signals
• Image can be digitally shifted ±10% V/H and scaled to fit the screen using the Digital Zoom Extender and Image Shift function via remote control
• HDMI output for possible connection to a second projector
• PressIT wireless presentation system or Panasonic’s AJ-WM50 series wireless module
• Manual focus for any adjustments

PT-CMZ50 will hit the market in Q2 2023.
