Philips presents the new robot vacuum cleaners of the Philips HomeRun series

Who doesn’t want to have a house that is always clean without having to put their hands on it? Philips he thought of this wish and threw two new robot vacuum cleaners for deep cleaning of the house, which work autonomously and intelligently, even when no one is home.

It’s about the models Philips HomeRun Serie 3000 e 7000 Aqua Seriestwo “flying saucers” that vacuum and wash all surfaces, from hard floors to rugs and carpets, with power, efficiency and delicacy.

Discovering the new Philips vacuum cleaner robots

Both robots are equipped with a strong suction power (4000 Pa for the 3000 Aqua Series and 5000 Pa for the 7000 Aqua Series) and long-lasting batteries (4800 mAh and 5200 mAh), which allow you to clean up to 150 m² with a single charge. When the battery runs out, the robot returns to its charging station by itself and then resumes work once charged.

Philips vacuum cleaner robots feature the washing function, thanks to a washable microfiber cloth which, in the case of the 7000 Aqua Series, vibrates to better remove dirt. In this way, the robots eliminate the fine dust that settles on floors every day and ensure total coverage of the surfaces, without skipping any spots. To do this, robots use the 360° laser navigation (LiDAR) to scan the environment and create an accurate map. In addition, the 7000 Aqua Series has 3D ToF sensors that recognize and navigate around obstacles such as shoes or toys measuring 2.0 x 2.0 cm (W x H). The sensors even work in the dark, so there’s no need to leave the lights on when you leave the house.

  • Individual

The robots empty themselves automatically in their emptying station in less than 30 seconds, using Philips DualWave technology. The station contains a 3 liter disposable allergy bag that can collect up to 30 days of dirt. The bag can be disposed of hygienically without raising dust, which is also ideal for asthma and allergy sufferers.

It goes without saying, but while we’re at it, let’s do it: both robot vacuum cleaners are entirely smart and can be managed remotely via the Philips HomeRun app.
