Google is about to launch its own Pixel Fold at Google I/O 2023, the first leaflet of the line – but also the smartphone from highest price in the history of the brand. In fact, it will cost up to $1,700 in the United States, probably more if it arrives in Italy.

An exclusive preview from CNBC reveals the details of Google’s first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, which will be presented on May 10 at Google I/O 2023 and will be available starting in June. The price will be $1,700, slightly lower than that of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4, its main rival. But the highest ever for Google.
Pixel Fold will have a screen external 5.8 inch and one internal 7.6 inch, like the model of Samsung. The most interesting novelty will be the battery, the most powerful ever seen on a smartphone, able to last from 24 to 72 hours depending on the energy saving mode.
