Netflix has confirmed that the new series, stop motion Pokémon Concierge, will be available from December 28th. The released trailer, only two minutes long, fuels expectations
The stop-motion Pokemon Concierge series was announced at the Pokemon Presents presentation in February. The series will follow the adventures of Haru, a new concierge at a southern island Pokémon hotel resort. Haru will gradually discover herself as she, along with the other staff members, rush to take care of the various Pokémon guests. That’s what Netflix said for the show in a short blurb. Haru’s voice actress Rena Nonen said the series is very therapeutic and it makes you want to try to give the best of yourself, even when you feel bombarded, under pressure or that you don’t want to get up and just want to give up. Additionally, Netflix also released a two-minute trailer.
New projects for Pokemon after the Pokemon Concierge trailer
Pokemon Concierge is one of the new Pokemon series to be available, after the story of Ash Ketchum which ended in the Pokémon anime at the beginning of the year. The series is the result of a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and the animation studio Dwarf Studio. Pokemon Concierge is not, however, the only new Pokemon show coming out in December, in fact, the BBC recently announced that the animated film Pokémon Horizons: The Series will also be aired – which follows protagonists Liko and Roy and their respective Pokémon partners Sprigatito and Fuecoco – on iPlayer and CBBC next month.
