Pokémon Presents: news coming on the remakes of Diamond and Pearl and on Pokémon Legends Arceus
The ad just appeared on the account Twitter Pokémon official and confirmed that the next Pokémon Presents event will take place on August 18. For the occasion, the developers have several news in store for us, including updates on the sixth gen remakes. We are obviously talking about Pokémon Shining Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.
These two Sinnoh region remakes are expected to arrive on November 19, but they will not be the only protagonists of the conference. In fact, during the Pokémon Presents on Wednesday it should also find space Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the mysterious open wolrd RPG project that we saw a few months in the trailer and that has since disappeared from the radar.
This is a highly anticipated title by fans of the franchise given that, in addition to trying to innovate the traditional formula of Pokémon games, it promises to shed light on some aspects of the mythology of the franchise up to now largely silent by Game Freak. Pokémon Arceus Legends will be set in the Sinnoh region, just like the remakes of Diamente and Perla, but the story told dates back many centuries.
Unlike the remakes, however, this third title does not yet have a definitive release date, for now still scheduled for a generic 2022, so there are many fans who are hoping for the announcement of a launch window at this conference.
