A new teaser for the film Problemista, starring Julio Torres and Tilda Swinton, reveals the release date of the comedy
A24 has shared a new teaser of the star-studded film Problemista Tilda Swinton e Julio Torresthus revealing that the release date in the United States is Friday 1 March. Problemista is a comedy written, directed and starring Julio Torres, which premiered at the last SXSW Festival a Austin, Texas. In the video we witness a rather surreal phone call between the two protagonists.
At the center of the plot will be Alejandro, an aspiring toy designer born in El Salvador, who seeks to bring his bizarre ideas to life in New York. However, his visa is about to expire and the young man decides to take a job as an assistant to a marginalized star of the art world (Tilda Swinton), in order to stay in the United States and make his dream come true.

The movie will be a surreal adventure through the equally treacherous worlds of New York and the American immigration system. Tilda Swinton will play Elizabeth, and the cast will also include RZA as Bobby, Isabella Rossellini as the narrator, Larry Owens as Craigslist, Catalina Saavedra as Dolores, and Greta Lee as Dalia.
The film, as mentioned, is written, directed and starring the young and talented Julio Torres, who shares the scene with the always extravagant Tilda Swinton. Torres recently worked on the series Los Espookys and was part of the writing team for Saturday Night Live. Four-time Emmy nomineeTorres directed the film from his own screenplay and also produced alongside Fruit Tree’s Dave McCary, Ali Herting and Emma Stone.
