Development of Project Awakening has not been canceled!
Started in 2016 per PS4, development on Project Awakening never ended, and fortunately, nothing has been canceled yet. With time now passed, we wouldn't say we were surprised if the fantasy action role-playing game moved to the PS5, making the console its sole home. The title uses the Cygames game engine, the Cyllista. The last one trailer on gameplay It dates back to 2018, when we saw a medieval warrior grappling with a colossal monster (top image). The following February the South Korean GRAC (we talked about it with Hollow Knight: Silksong, ed.) rated it with the subtitle Arise, and in 2021 we saw a short demo of the Cyllista Game Engine. Since then, however, nothing more has been known about it. We can only keep our fingers crossed.
