The specific weight of the PS5 Pro is measured with specifications of a certain weight: thanks to a leak we could have information on Sony’s muscles
Apparently, among the many mysteries surrounding the unannounced (and, therefore, still elusive) PS5 Pro one in particular may have received a long-awaited clarification: let’s talk about specificationsobject of leak today. Initially reported on YouTube by Moore’s Law is Dead, this data appears to be legitimate and coming from Sony’s internal development network, to which several partners have access. For this reason, therefore, both Insider Gaming and the rest of the foreign sector press have contributed to the rumor. As you may have guessed, the beneficiaries of the boost will be the system memory and the GPU. With a “G”, because the CPU otherwise remains unchanged. More or less.

Specific information on PS5 Pro: a promising leak?
As well as the CPU with a new “high frequency mode” that makes it 10% faster than the basic model (with a 1% penalty on GPU performance) and the separate disc compartment of the Slim model, according to the leak PS5 Pro will have the specifications visible below. L’list in fact it includes:
- Memory: 576 GB/s (18GT/s), incremento del 28% da 448GB/s (14GT/s)
- CPU: 3.85GHz, a 10% increase when using High CPU Frequency Mode
- GPU: 33.5 teraflops
It must also be said that a direct comparison is not possible (the 10.28 teraflops of the PS5 derive from a different AMD architecture), but the estimate of improvements is around 45%. PSSR is also included with the GPU (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution Upscaling) which uses AI to arrive at the resolution mentioned in the tweet in the middle of the article. The announcement has not yet arrived, but according to market analyst Serkan Toto the launch should arrive in the second half of the year. Rumors about this have been going on since last summer. For their part, Microsoft and Nintendo have their own plans: a new Xbox model will arrive this year, while the Big N could launch Switch 2 next year.
