This includes the TS-855eU with single power supply and the TS-855eU-RP with redundant power supplies. The short depth TS-855eU NAS series is particularly suitable for IT deployment in small racks, spacious workstations or in production lines. Equipped with a 2.8GHz 8-core Intel Atom C5125 processor with Intel QuickAssist technology and capable of supporting up to 64GB of memory (ECC memory supported). Robust and feature-rich TS-855eU series offers eight SATA drive bays, dual 2.5GbE ports. The TS-855eU series meets the performance and capacity requirements of enterprise file servers, virtual machines, SaaS backup and virtualization applications.

The TS-855eU series is certified by VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V for virtualization storage. The TS-855eU offers an all-in-one backup and recovery solution that supports versatile cloud-based services for easy hybrid cloud deployment. Businesses can easily create FC SAN storage by adding the TS-855eU series NAS to the existing FC SAN infrastructure with QNAP’s Fiber Channel adapters. With QTS operating system as standard, the TS-855eU series NAS can be flexibly set to use the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system for higher reliability and data integrity.
