L’Apps on Instagram releases yet another novelty aimed at its users. Now, in fact, the platform allows you to share Stories and Reels through a QR Code. And that’s not all. Users can use a code to share their location. A particularly useful novelty for marketing campaigns and commercial activities. But let’s find out more about the new Instagram QR Codes.
Instagram: QR Code for sharing Stories and Reels
Incredible news on the Instagram App, which now allows users to share Stories and Reels via a QR Code. To do so, just touch the three dots icon below a post, a reel or a position and select the option for the sharing via QR Code. On the web, however, users can add “/ qr” to the URL of a post to generate a QR code. The option is quite innovative, although the platform has already allowed for some time to share the profile with other users through a QR Code. But this is the first time we see a similar system applied to content sharing.

“To facilitate the sharing of specific content for people and companies, we recently launched the ability to create QR codes for profiles, tags, locations, Reels and more”, so a spokesperson for Meta commented on the new function of the Instagram App. On the other hand, it had already been for some time that the expert Alessandro Paluzzi had revealed that the platform was working on a similar novelty. But now the option has finally become available to users, although it is unclear for which specifics. One thing is certain, though: Instagram QR Codes will change the way content is shared. And soon we’ll find out how.
