AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.9.2: all the improvements of the latest version
The company claims that for Diablo II: Resurrected, just released and faithful to the famous title published by Blizzard, the optimizations bring a + 13% on gaming performance. These numbers are based on tests performed on the 12GB AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU at Very High settings in 4K and are compared to the performance of previous drivers (21.9.1).
Other than that, the update includes some fixes to problems and bugs encountered in previous versions. Fixed a bug that caused Radeon software to not have the additional CPU metrics section in the Performance tab for some users. Also fixed some compatibility errors when trying to load a previously saved optimization profile.
AMD also fixed a bug that was found in Hitman 3. With some GPUs, such as the Radeon RX 6800 XT, the water along the shore was not loading. Finally, now there is no longer the bug regarding the non-activation of the function Auto Overclock for Ryzen 5000 Series CPUs and Radeon 6000 Series GPUs.
The company, in the post of the release notes of Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.9.2, has also included the list of some known issues. These will be fixed in future releases of Radeon Software Adrenalin. These include crashes during gaming sessions in Horizon Zero Dawn with some GPUs such as the RX 6700 XT; or the persistence of the Open Broadcaster Software background process even after the application is closed.
You can update the software to the latest version directly from the AMD Radeon Software, or download the program by visiting this page.
