The most awaited event by fighting game fans is finally upon us. The Red Bull Kumiteorganized by Ouroboros Society ASD & APS, returns for the ninth consecutive year to challenge the best players of Street Fighter 6.
This year, Italy will host the national leg of the tournament, which will be held on March 9 at Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome (in via Merulana, 249). A prestigious location that will be the setting for the exciting battles of the Italian qualifiers.
Whoever manages to win the title of Italian Champion will have the opportunity to fly to New York, where the world final at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn.
Street Fighter 6: what you need to know about the Red Bull Kumite in Rome
The event will start at 10.30am with check-in of participantsfollowed by pool which will continue until 5pm. At that point, the best 8 players of the groups will compete nthe final phasewhich will decide the winner of the Italian stage.
The day will end with a special DJ set by Kenobit, who will accompany those present with his music. The tournament predicts a maximum of 128 participants and will take place with the double elimination formula, with best-of-5 sets.
