In the final, best of three games, Sandalo got the better of Counter by winning 2 to 1 in comeback: after being defeated in the first game, Sandalo decided to change his strategy and ban his opponent’s favorite champion in the following games; choice that turned out to be a winner and allowed the Esport Empire player to win both decisive clashes between his own Tristana and Counter’s Samira.

The victory in the Italian tournament, characterized by the exclusive 1vs1 formula compared to the more canonical 5vs5 team format, will give Sandalo the opportunity to represent Italy in the World Finals which will be held in December in Germany. In fact, our standard bearer will challenge the champions of the Red Bull Solo Q from all over the world to try to carve out a prominent place in the international export scene.

“We are eager to see the results our champion will bring, but we are even more excited to see how Red Bull has decided, with the inclusion of the Red Bull Solo Q, to embrace our project of the Tormenta Circuit, with the common intention of giving wings to the Italian competitive ecosystem of League of Legends, which is really expanding today. ” Says Carlo Barone, Riot Games Brand Manager Italy.

The Italian final of the competition sealed the collaboration between Red Bull e Predator, official technology partner of the Red Bull Solo Q for the 2021 edition. “We are thrilled to continue to collaborate with Red Bull for this new exclusive League of Legends tournament and having supported the finalists with our new devices of the line Predator that, thanks to cutting-edge technologies, help players to face every challenge in the best possible way ”, says Martina Grassi, Trade Marketing & Marcom Manager Acer Italy.
