The Looper interview
According to a recent interview with Looper, the director of Red Notice, Rawson Marshall Thurber, teased a possible plot for the film’s sequel, revealing which direction he’d like to push the script. He hasn’t revealed anything in particular, but has stated that his intention for a sequel would be to pick up the threads of history directly at the point where Red Notice stops, or in France, in the famous Louvre museum.
Thurber stated:
We shut down as soon as our three heroes go to the Louvre for a theft
So, in the film, we could see how the three protagonists allied each other for the mission, but we didn’t see them at work in the museum, because that’s where Red Notice stops.
We just have to wait and hope that a sequel will soon be put in the works. Meanwhile, if you missed Red Notice, we strongly recommend that you retrieve it on the Netflix platform.
