Capcom recently unveiled the frame rate and resolution to which Resident Evil Village will go on the new next-gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft
The new was held last night Resident Evil Showcase and during the event Capcom talked a lot about Resident Evil Village. The title will arrive on all platforms in just under three weeks and consequently this is the time when a lot of information is always pouring online.
In fact, after last night’s event, Capcom released some very interesting statements on its official website game performance. In fact, the company has finally unveiled the frame rate and resolution to which Resident Evil Village will go on the new ones next-gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft.

A lot of information about Resident Evil Village performances has appeared very recently and it seems that fans are happy with what they have read. According to the game’s official website, the title will be able to hold up 4K/60 FPS with HDR active is on PS5 that Xbox Series X. In addition it will even manage to go to 4K/45 FPS with ray tracing active. These results really are impressive, but we’ll still have to see how stable the frame rate will be in this mode.
Regarding Xbox Series S instead the title will be able to hold i 1440p/45 FPS with HDR, while only i 1440p/30 FPS with ray tracing active. Capcom also talked about the performance on the old consoles. Apparently on Xbox One X e PS4 Pro the title will reach i 1080p/60 FPS o i 4K/30 FPS con HDR, really not bad performances.
The situation on the other hand starts to get worse on PS4 e Xbox One, since the game manages to reach i respectively 900p/45 FPS e i 900p/30 FPS. In this case you might be interested in trying the Stadia version of Resident Evil Village, as it is able to reach the 1080p/60 FPS oppure i 4K dinamici a 60 FPS.
