L’esperienza survival horror di Resident Evil Village is about to become more immersive than ever thanks to the VR Mode, available from February 22 as free DLC. Players will be able to don their PlayStation VR 2 headsets to enter the eerie Castle Dimitrescu as Ethan Winters.
The expansion will be totally free for all those who already own the PlayStation 5 versions di Resident Evil Village o Resident Evil Village Gold Edition.
What to expect from Resident Evil Village in VR
The viewer HDR 4K of PlayStation VR 2 will guarantee horror lovers an even more immersive (and frightening) experience. This is also thanks to display 4K HDR and to eye tracking technology which Sony viewers are equipped with.
Not to be underestimated then theaudio 3D, which will make the gloomy sounds of the dark Dimitrescu castle even more tensive. We can therefore imagine that players will be able to literally “feel” the presence of the inhabitants of the castle. Inhabitants who, let’s remember, are not very friendly. After all, that funny Lady D wanders through those corridors with only one goal: to kill you.
The gameplay experience, as the Sony blog confirms, will be optimized for the new ones controller Sensewhich will allow for use both hands independently. It will therefore be possible to shield yourself with your arms or handle a knife with your left hand while shooting with your right. In general we can expect a more realistic and immersive weapon aimingtaking full advantage of the controls that the Sense technology has.
VR Mode is extended to the entire game campaign.
