Psyonix, the San Diego-based video game development studio, has announced that Season 4’s Rocket League Season 4 kicks off August 11 on all platforms! The new season will feature a new Rocket Pass, Arena, Limited Time Modes (LTMs), tournament additions and more.
The new season of Rocket League:
Rocket League Season 4 will feature:
- A new Rocket Pass – The new Bandit machine and 70+ ranks with unique items will be available for those who unlock the Rocket Pass Premium.
- Arena Deadeye Canyon – The new Deadeye Canyon Arena will be available on all standard Playlists when Season 4 begins.
- New LTMs – 2v2 Heatseeker will be available as Limited Time Mode starting August 12th. Speed Demon, an LTM that combines mutators, Boomer Ball speed without the wild bounces, touch effects and a faster respawn timer, will follow suit on August 19th. Spring Loaded, the Rumble variant currently available as a mutator in Private Games, will also be added later this month.
- Expanded Competitive Tournaments – With the addition of 2v2 Tournaments and Extra Modes, the daily Competitive Tournament schedule will be enriched in each region.
- Music Safe Setting for Streamers – A new Audio setting will be added with the new season where players will be able to disable copyrighted music for videos and streaming.
- Additional Updates – Decreased restrictions for rank in groups, improvements to Random Games and several changes to the quality of life. To find out more about what’s coming with Season 4, visit the game’s official blog with insights on it HERE.
