The new version of Rocket League, one of the most successful video games of this generation, could arrive directly on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S
Seen thehuge success obtained by Rocket League, unsurprisingly that Epic Games, which recently absorbed the original developer Psyonix, is considering making a new version of the game. New rumors would then seem to indicate that a next-gen version of Rocket League is actually in the company’s projects, and that this is destined to arrive directly on PS5 e Xbox Series X/S.

The clue of the probable landing on the latest generation consoles of the future version of Rocket League. These sheets, intended to remain internal to the company but made public during a process involving Epic and Apple, explicitly speak of Epic’s desire to create a native version of Rocket League for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. In fact, there is already the possibility of using the title also on these thanks to the guarantee of backwards compatibility; the latter, however, is not able to provide a gaming experience of the level expected from the new generation.
The same documents also refer to a other project of the Epic related to Rocket League: a 2D game version side scrolling. This affiliate title, which in the meantime has already been officially announced, should be exclusive to the mobile devices and be available for both iOS and Android.
