Royal Enfield is currently working hard with new models and in May 2022, the manufacturer will launch the Scram 411, a new scrambler that uses components already used in other models. An intelligent approach that leads to low production costs and consequently to affordable motorcycles.
The Scram 411 has an LS-410 engine that we know as already proposed on the Royal Enfield Himalayan adventure model. The Harris Performance frame is also very similar. However, the Scram 411 is simpler and more puristic in structure and equipment, as befits a scrambler.
Royal Enfield, Scram 411 is a crossover between adventure and the city
A motorcycle, to be defined as a scrambler, must have excellent characteristics in terms of maneuverability and engine control. For this, the sitting position must be upright and the weight should be as low as possible. These are exactly the distinguishing features of the new Scram 411. This is a motorcycle for the city but also performs well on challenging routes such as country roads.
The air-cooled 411cc single-cylinder engine delivers a maximum power of 24.3 hp at 6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 32 Nm at 4,000-4,500 rpm. Control of the bike is aided by suspension with a 41mm telescopic front fork and 190mm travel and a monoshock linkage system with 180mm rear travel. The 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel are rubberized with tires that offer sufficient grip and traction on asphalt, gravel or bumpy road surfaces.
Royal Enfield Scram 411 is also suitable for not very tall centaurs
The saddle height of 795 mm makes the Scram 411 also suitable for smaller riders. The Scram 411 has a digital-analog dashboard that easily displays all essential information on a digital screen. The “old school” analog speedometer adds to the scrambler style. Also, the navigation system Royal Enfield Tripper it is installed as standard on all versions of Scram 411.
The new scramble is available in 2 variants and different color combinations. It is possible to choose between the colors Graphite Yellow, Graphite Red and Graphite Blue with a “Gun Gray” colored tank complemented by color badges matching the ribbons on the tire rims. The other version has a multicolored tank and other original color designs, with a choice of shades between White Flame and Silver Spirit.
The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 is expected to be available at all official dealers starting with May 2022. Various accessories will also be available by that date. The price has not yet been communicated.
