Sace presents Women in Export Obiettivo Sud

Sace, the Italian insurance-financial group controlled by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, today presented the project Women in Export Objective South. It is a free specialist training course that aims to enhance the female intellectual capital of southern companies. Registration will be open until January 23 and the project will start on January 25.

The initiative is promoted in partnership with Microsoft Italy e UPS and aims to support the sustainable and inclusive growth of SMEs in the Mezzogiorno in the double digital and ecological transition. In this way, the goal is to increase the ability to share skills and create sectoral synergies between women’s businesses in the South.

“With this initiative – he explains Alessandra Ricci Chief Executive Officer of SACE – we intend to help develop an industrial policy for the South based on innovation and sustainability, aiming to strengthen the female intellectual capital that revolves around its strategic supply chains and economic sectors, also thanks to the opportunities triggered by the PNRR and in line with the objectives of our TOGETHER 2025 industrial plan, which is already in full swing”.

How to enroll in Women in Export Obiettivo Sud

Currently, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan allocates at least 40% of the funds to the South. These are loans that must be added to those of the Development and Cohesion Fund. Gender equality and the promotion of female employment are, in this sense, transversal objectives of the PNRR. This is because the South, which even before the pandemic emergency showed the most difficult employment conditions, suffers from a more accentuated gender gap in its productive and entrepreneurial fabric than the rest of the country.

From this point of view, the Women in Export Objective South project is aimed at 80 women-run companies in the South. Female entrepreneurs, managers and executives directly involved in defining the change in corporate strategy from a sustainable, digital and international perspective can participate. Registration is free and will close on 23 January 2023.

To send your application or request more information, just consult the official website of the initiative. The course, which will start on January 25, will include 36 total hours delivered in blended mode (90% online and 10% in presence).
