The Galaxy S22 series has quickly become the flagship of Samsung’s production. According to some reports, on the first day of launch they would have sold well 300 thousand pieces in South Korea. And after only eight days of sale – from 14 to 21 February – they were over 1 million smartphones sold all over the world. A record that far exceeds that of the Samsung Galaxy S8, which had reached one million units sold in just 11 days.
Galaxy S22: the series reaches the sales record of the Samsung production
In addition to South Korea, also China has been a huge fan of Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series. The company’s new smartphone has been pre-sold on the country’s main e-commerce platforms. Prices, from what we know, are quite important, but that has by no means stopped buyers. The Samsung Galaxy S22 in the 8GB + 128GB version, for example, was priced at 4,999 yuan, or $ 791. While the Plus and Ultra models at the respective costs of 6,599 yuan and 9,699 yuan, equal to $ 1044 and $ 1534.
On the other hand, we are talking about smartphones with quite important technical specifications. The Ultra model, for example, it boasts a 6.8-inch curved screen, a quad camera with a 108MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide range, and a 5000mAh battery. The base model, on the other hand, will have a 6.1-inch straight screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, this uses a triple rear-facing camera setup and supports a 3700mAh battery. Lastly, the Plus model, equipped with a 6.6-inch straight display and a 4500 mAh battery. In short, if the Galaxy S22 series has reached a sales record, now you know why.
